The PHS & PJH Cheerleaders will be hosting a Mini Mohawk Cheer Clinic Monday, April 25, 2022 through Friday, April 29, 2022 at the elementary gym. The clinic is for girls who will be in Kindergarten through 6th grade during the 2021-2022 school year. Remember money and order forms are due by Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Third Grade Family Reading Night: It will be Thursday, April 7th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Please come join in the fun of reading. The class with the most visitors will receive a prize for their classroom. Hope to see you all there!

Attention Mohawks: Due to the threat of incoming inclement weather the Piggott School District will release early today at 2:30pm to get students home before these storms reach Piggott. As a reminder, the tornado safe shelter will be open in the event of any torndao warnings issued for our area. Thank you for your understanding. Attention FBLA parents: The pizza kits are arriving early. Please pick up between 3:30 and 5:45 in the high school cafeteria. Pizza kits are frozen upon arrival and we have no storage for them. Items must be picked up today.
Tuesday, March 15, we will be taking spring pictures at the elementary. All students will get their pictures made. You will receive a proof in a couple of weeks and if you would like to order pictures you can do so then.
Seniors - Senior cap and gown composite pictures will be taken tomorrow, Monday, March 14, starting at 8 a.m. There will NOT be a make-up day. There will be a $10 sitting fee that must be paid the day of the pictures. The sitting fee will include an 8 x 10 copy of the senior composite. Boys should wear a collared button down shirt and girls should wear a dressy top or blouse. Bring your cap and gown to school. Thank you!

Attention Fbla parents: The Little Caesar's pizza kits will be delivered one day next week. Mrs. Peters will announce the delivery day as soon as it is available.
6th Grade Girls who are interested in trying out for Jr. High Cheerleading need to bring in completed tryout information packets and be prepared to practice after school this Tuesday-Thursday till 5:00 in the Middle Gym at PHS. Tryouts will be this Friday after school.

HS Tornado Shelter is open. Piggott and Clay County is under a tornado warning until 6:15pm. The shelter will remain open until the all clear is given.
Clay County has been issued a tornado watch. In the event we are issued a tornado warning the safe house at the HS will be open to the public.
There was reported that the HS Cafeteria was on fire. That is a false report. The Piggott Fire Department has been on campus conducting their monthly fire drill. Please disregard the false report. Thank You!
Mohawk Nation: Due to icy conditions around campus and continued collection of freezing rain on roadways, trees, powerlines the Piggott School District will be CLOSED to on-site instruction for Friday, February 25, 2022. This will be AMI Day #10. Any future days will have to be made up at the end of the school year. Elementary students should have AMI Packet #10 work to complete and High School Students should continue to work through Google Classroom for their instruction. Due to the inclement weather the Piggott School District will be closed on Thursday, February 24, 2022 to on-site instruction. Elementary students should have AMI Packet #9 to work on for their classroom instruction and High School Students should find their classwork through Google Classroom for classwork.
