Reminder: Supper with Santa is Saturday, December 14, at the PES gym. The time is 5-7 pm. This is hosted by Piggott Band Boosters.
Mohawk Nation: The Piggott School District was notified, after hours, on December 11, 2024 of a safety recall from the Sysco Corporation that supplies our cafeteria food supply of a possible egg allergen in Lot Number PF100424 of Bakers Source Classic Cornbread Mix. Students/staff that have egg allergies could have been affected. The meals were served on November 11, 2024 and December 5, 2024. There should be no harm unless a staff member or student has an allergen to eggs. If you have any type of allergens please contact Hope Burns our food service director or the school nurse at the appropriate school to ensure we have safeguards in place for future meal plans. The safety of our students, staff, and community are top priority at the Piggott School District. Go Mohawks!

Reminder: PES is collecting recipes for our cookbook. A note went home yesterday telling more information . We would like each student to bring 2 recipes in their assigned category by December 13. Recipes may be sent to their teachers by paper or via email. Thank you for your help.
Mohawk Nation: The Christmas Break will begin on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The Piggott School District will release students at 1pm on the 17th and be closed for the Christmas Holidays and will resume the second semester on Monday January 6, 2025. The Elementary Penguin Patch is open all this week for students to shop at. Gifts range from 25 cents to $15.00. If you have any questions, please call the elementary office.
The daddy/daughter dance will be this Saturday, December 7, at 6:00. Tickets will be available at the door for $10.00. The dance will be held at the High School Middle Gym. All ages are invited to the dance. The Piggott Cheerleader are sponsoring this event and they hope to see you all there.
The Piggott School District Schools and Offices will be closed from Monday, November 25 through Friday, November 29, 2024 for Thanksgiving Break. School will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024. Have a Happy Thanksgiving Break!

Just reminding parents that tutoring will be starting this week. It will be every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30-4:30. You will need to make arrangements for your child to be picked up at 4:30. There will be NO buses running. This is ONLY for students that received a letter from the elementary school regarding tutoring for your child. Just a reminder that tomorrow night will be the PES Fall Festival. The festival will be at the elementary playground from 3:30-6:00. We hope to see everyone there!
We will be preselling tickets Thursday and Friday morning of this week. The tickets are $10.00 for 20 tickets. Please tell your children we will be starting in the morning from 7:30- 8:00. The tickets will be sold in front of the elementary office. We will also be selling them Friday at the Fall Festival for the same price.

This week we are having our canned food drive: Tuesday bring canned vegetables and canned fruit. Wednesday bring instant potato packages and macaroni and cheese. Thursday bring dessert items and Friday bring stuffing packages, gravy packets and jars of peanut butter and jelly. Thank you, for helping with this!
