We will be having Yearbook Spirit week next week, March 17-20th.
Monday: Bows vs. Chains (Dress in your favorite bow attire or wear your favorite chain)
Tuesday: Dress to impress (dress wacky or classy)
Wednesday: Walking Yearbook (Wear a t-shirt your friends can sign)
Thursday: Artist Day (Dress as your favorite music artist)
The yearbook theme will be revealed on Thursday!
Sr. High Baseball, Sr. High Softball, Jr. High and Sr. High Track will be taking pictures during advisory tomorrow- Wednesday, March 12th. Please bring your uniforms that day for the picture!"
The Beta picture will be tomorrow -Wednesday, March 12 in the new gym.
Juniors: There is a Prom theme survey in your email. You need to fill it out by Wednesday.
7th/8th & Biology will be taking the Science interim Wednesday, March 12. 7th/8th will keep the same testing rosters. Check the Biology roster - it will be slightly different. Report to testing rooms when the morning bell rings.
The sophomores will be touring the BRTC CTC programs at the Armory location on Thursday March 13 at 12:46. Students will need to report to the library when lunch is over. We will walk to the Armory - weather permitting.
There will be a 3 on 3 tournament this Saturday. Contact Kasey Featherston to sign up - 870-634-8084. They also need volunteers from the junior class.
March is Youth Art Month (YAM). There will be a different art activity each week in March for everyone to participate in. This Friday for YAM, see Mrs. Tate for an art scavenger hunt challenge that will take place during breaks between classes. Correctly completed scavenger forms need to be turned in to Mrs. Tate and the winner will be drawn on Friday.
Color guard auditions will be the week after spring break. Auditions are open to students not currently in band as well. Sign up and grab a paper in the office for more information
The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is accepting applications from qualified high school sophomores and juniors interested in attending the SAME/Army Engineering and Construction Camp, June 8-14, 2025 in Vicksburg, MS. See Mrs. Amber for a link to the application. Deadline is March 14.
Math tutoring for 7th and 8th graders will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It will start right after school and last an hour. Report to Room 218 when the last bell rings.
All High School FBLA members have been added to the FBLA Google Classroom and should check it regularly to stay updated.
Students are not to park in the band parking lot, Dollar General lot, or church parking lot. Legal drivers must park in the main parking lots only. See Mrs. Amber for a parking tag.
Students - once you are on school property in the mornings, you are not allowed to leave. This goes for car riders, bus riders, and walkers.
